Pasadena Shakespeare Company Holds Benefit at Wild Thyme Cafe

December 15, 1999

Wild Thyme Café and Bakery at 805 Fair Oaks in South Pasadena will be the scene of a benefit for The Pasadena Shakespeare Company on Tuesday, January 4, 2000. The public is invited to join members of the acting company, artistic staff, board, volunteers, and friends of the PSC for food, fun, and friendship.

Wild Thyme will donate 30% of the proceeds from customers who patronize the restaurant between 3 and 9 p.m. on January 4 (including take-out orders and baked goods), and say they're there to support The Pasadena Shakespeare Company. Funds raised at the Wild Thyme benefit will support the productions of the PSC's 2000 season, to be presented at the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena.

The PSC has garnered rave reviews in its 4 seasons, with the L.A. Times declaring it "a first-rate theatrical company," and Cheers! Magazine exclaiming, "the PSC is fast becoming one of Pasadena's great treasures. For further information about the benefit or the PSC's upcoming productions, please contact The Pasadena Shakespeare Company at (626) 564-8564.
