Melanie Ewbank Sapecky

A founding member of PSC, Melanie stage-managed PSC's Richard III, and appeared as Phyllis Fontaine in Once in a Lifetime and performed in The Taming of the Shrew. She has performed at several theates in the LA area as well as Tucson, Arizona. She recently performed the role of Mavis Johnson in Singular Productions' The Rimers of Eldritch. Some favorite roles include Florence Unger in The (Female) Odd Couple, Gloria Upson in Mame, Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap, the Princess of France in Love's Labor's Lost, Ophelia in Hamlet, Joanne in Vanities and Sorel Bliss in Hay Fever. Melanie has appeared in several films and especially enjoyed playing the perky and talkative nurse in Prank. Her most memorable role, however, was that of a co-ed in a B horror flick who had to say the most obnoxious line ever written: 'He was burned so bad he looked like something scraped off the bottom of a pan.' Hey, it beats the day job.
