DIRECTING STYLE
My first goal when directing is to be a good storyteller within the style of the piece. Beyond that, I strive to give the audience an exceptional experience that they can only have in a live theatre, so I like to add a theatrical touch to what I do. I relish in collaboration with the actors and design team so that all involved feel represented and passionate about their work. Final word, however, is mine, as the eye and mind that can see all aspects of the piece. I like to encourage clarity, passion and creativity, with a great love and appreciation of text, language and movement. I also pride myself in excellent organizational skills.
