Douglas Gabrielle
Doug made his debut performance in Los Angeles with the PSC as Corin in
As You Like It
and continued working with the PSC doing several roles in
The Comedy of Errors
as well as its lighting design. Doug has performed in
Othello
at Laguna Playhouse,
Uncle Vanya
at the San Diego Repertory Theatre,
Carousel
at San Diego Civic Light Opera and
Man of La Mancha
at the Welk among others. Favorite roles include Sir Toby in
Twelfth Night
, James Wicker in
It's Only a Play
and Joan in
Sexual Perversity in Chicago
. Doug is a cofounder of San Diego's Avant Guarde Fritz Theatre, an accomplished lighting designer and a darn good dart player.
