Loren has spent ten years on New York stages working with many acclaimed actors including Oscar winners Kevin Kline, F. Murray Abraham, and Christopher Walken as well as Tony winning director Wilford Leach. His Off-Broadway engagements include performances for such renowned theatres as the New York Shakespeare Festival, Lincoln Center, and Circle Rep and was last seen in New York in the long running hit Tamara with TV star Roma Downey. Always an honor to perform Shakespeare, his repertoire includes Petruchio, Mercutio, Malvolio, Lysander, Brutus as well as the title roles in Macbeth, and Richard III. Among his other favorites: Stanley Kowalski (A Streetcar Named Desire), George (Of Mice and Men), and Treves (The Elephant Man). He has appreared in several forgettable films but undeterred and hopeful was recently cast in First Impressions. As always, the best supporting award goes to his family back home (Michigan) and his heroic wife. Mr. Bass can be seen everyday in his favorite, most challenging, most fulfilling role, Daddy, in the hilarious, nail-biting, hair-raising, seat-of-your-pants love story, Halley, whom he co-produced with his super-patient and repeatedly magnificent Nancy.
