Having recently acted in two Kaufman and Hart comedies, Once in a Lifetime and The Man Who Came to Dinner, I have become a huge fan of their charm and wit. And, my appreciation for this has been a huge factor in my choosing to direct yet another of their plays, You Can't Take it with You.

But it goes further than that, more that just the gaiety and humor, pratfalls, and sight gags .... I am addicted to the lust for life that I have found in all their collaborations. As a matter of fact "Lust for Life" could be an alternate title for You Can't Take it with You. I hope that you get a good chuckle, belly laugh or giggle or for that matter, all of these out of our production ... but I'm actually hoping for more. I hope that you walk out of the theatre with a glint in your eye and an extra spring in your step and yes ... a greater or rekindled lust for life.
